The resort was built as a Four Seasons resort first. The first investors put $300 million into the resort in 2003 but ran into money problems during the recession. In 2009, Sandals bought the property.

Even though the resort was still pretty new, they still put $12 million into it to make some of the things that make Sandals famous, mainly the pools.

So now you can enjoy a Sandals Resort with the same quality of construction and amenities as a Four Seasons Resort.

Dining at Sandals Emerald Bay

There are 11 remarkable restaurants, so you’ll always be hungry. There is a vast range of gourmet food to choose from. Each restaurant is part of your stay, so you can try somewhere new every day or return to your favorites. Each meal goes well with one of six Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks Wines types. You can also eat in your room.

The Soy Sushi Bar is my favorite place to eat at Sandals. There is also a Kimonos hibachi grill that is great for dinners. We liked Jerk Shack and Barefoot by the Sea for lunch.

We also liked going to the Cafe do Paris whenever we wanted to get milkshakes and lattes.

There is also the Italian restaurant Il Cielo, the French restaurant La Parisienne, an authentic English pub, Bahama Bay, which serves local food, Dino’s Pizzeria Italiano, Café de Paris, and Bombay Club (Indian).

Sandals Emerald Bay vs. Sandals Royal Bahamian: What to Choose?

Although Sandals resorts are well-known for being luxurious and all-inclusive, each one is unique.

The Sandals Royal Bahamian may be found in Nassau, which is located on the Bahamas’ primary island. There is a rich variety of activities available in the region. It is conveniently located in close proximity to both the airport and the stunning Cable Beach. This luxurious resort was designed to resemble a British manor, complete with billiard rooms and daily service of high tea. One of the most distinctive aspects of Sandals Royal Bahamas is its private island, which is located just off the shore of the resort and has a restaurant and cabanas.

The expansive beach and resort area of Sandals Emerald Bay contribute to the destination’s sense of seclusion and exclusivity. Great Exuma is a more laid-back spot that gives you the impression that you are alone yourself, yet there is still much to do here.

You can’t go wrong with either of these resorts because they both provide a wide variety of delectable dining options, entertaining activities, and attractive places to stay. You might even be able to combine the two into one vacation.

Yet, we enjoy Sandals Emerald Bay more than the vast majority of the other Sandals Resorts. The only other thing that is worth mentioning is that Sandals Exumas has difficulties getting enough workers to the resort, so I’ll just leave it at that.

YES! You would love to be able to go back to this resort. It’s so fancy, and you’ll love how many different food options. You also like that it’s more prominent because it makes it feel more private. After all, you are sometimes right on top of other people.

The only bad thing about it is its proximity to the airport. This can also be good because you don’t have to spend your vacation time in a car getting from one resort to another. You get there quickly!

Overall, you’ll have a great time at Sandals Montego Bay. You’ll like the staff, the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere. Sandals Emerald Bay is a worthy place for a restful vacation!

After having such a wonderful time at Sandals Emerald Bay, we can unequivocally state that we are eager to investigate the other Sandals Resorts. Despite the fact that gratuities were already factored into the cost of our all-inclusive package, the employees here consistently went above and above to ensure that we were well taken care of and felt at home. You won’t want to leave since the resort provides genuine care for its visitors, and when you combine that with one of the most breathtaking beaches you’ve ever seen, you won’t be able to blame them.

As you are making plans for your next trip to the Bahamas, you’ll not regret it. We hope we helped!
