Morocco is one of my favorite places to visit throughout the year. From north to south it’s loaded up with marvels and wonderful qualities that will charm any guest. In case you’re considering going to Morocco, yet have no clue where you should visit, do not worry anything about it because in this article I will show you 7 Places you must have to see in Morocco.
1. Chefchaouen – The Blue Pearl
This city is very unique because it is entirely painted in blue. There are numerous theories regarding why precisely this city is totally painted in blue. Regardless of many theories people all agree on one thing: it will take your breath away. If you want to see the big city just take a walk up the hill and there you can see the city from the highest point. With no genuine division of where the blue skies end and where the blue city starts, it feels as though the sky is connecting with the Earth.
2. Marrakesh – Markets Galore
Marrakesh holds the title of most vibrant square in all of the Morocco. The Djemaa El Fna is clamoring with individuals selling foods, People there enjoys music and you could see them dancing to the music and the street artists plays with snakes and monkeys. After grabbing something mouthwatering to eat there, stop by the Bahia Palace! Which means “Brilliant Palace,” it truly captures the essence of what Moroccan architecture is.
3. Sahara Desert – Starry Nights and Sandy Views
If you want to do an adventure in your trip than doing a campsite Sahara Desert is a must. You will get there on a Camel and jog gently through the sand hills to get to your tent where you’re greeted with an impressive view. Each way you look, you’ll see fine, orange sand. During the evening, the moon and stars enlighten everything. Try to see the sunrise and do not go to sleep before watching it because seeing the sunrise over a tall sand hill surrounded by an ocean of colors in the sky is something you’ll always remember.
4. Rabat – The Capital
The largest minaret of the mosque in the world, the Hassan tower can be found here. It was commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third Caliph of the Almohad Caliphate in 1195. It is also just located right next to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, this is a stop you simply need to make when visiting the nation’s capital.
5. Fez – Bustling, Brilliant & Bizarre
Home of the world’s most seasoned constantly working University; Fez is viewed as the “second” capital of Morocco. Take a tour through the tanneries to see how leather is dyed stroll through the medina, and deal your way through the business sectors from probably the best souvenirs you’ll ever buy. 6. Hassan II- Casablanca
Hassan II Mosque really holds the world’s biggest minaret and can be seen from miles away when driving through Casablanca. 7. Ait Ben Haddou – The City of a Thousand Worlds
Besides being a UNESCO world heritage site, it’s also been a popular site for movies and T.V shows. Have you seen The Mummy? Troy? Gladiator? Game of Thrones? These have scenes from Ait Ben Haddou! Take a walk around the clay architecture, through the Kasbahs, and advance toward the top. The view is best exactly at nightfall.
Morocco is the stunning city and from my view every person who has resources must visit to this place once in a lifetime. I hope that my personal list of “7 wonders of Morocco” encourages you to make a trip of this beautiful city.
