The Best All-Inclusive resorts for snorkeling

The location of the resort on the beach, the “wow” factor, amenities, the clarity of the water, the beauty of the habitats, and the diversification and general well being of the marine life were all critical factors in the selection

1. Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa

You won’t find romance, exclusivity, or quiet time at the Beaches Resort on Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. This is a well known all-inclusive resort for families. It’s a prominent, 65-acre place. Visitors will, even so, discover almost everything visitors can assume — from the fabulous colossal spa, a 45,000-square-foot water park, and ten swimming pools to the exceptional Xbox Games Garage for youngsters to the downright outrageous, DJ-spinning academy.

You can stay at the Caribbean Village, the French Village, the Italian Village, and Key West Villas, all of which are part of the Beaches resort on Turks and Caicos. The Caribbean Village opened with the resort in 1997 and got a makeover in 2015. The French Village, which has a Riviera feel, is the most costly and has the classiest rooms. Each village does have its own swimming pool, diners, and accommodations, but all of them include one commonality: a bunch of tourists.

In every place you go, there will be other people there. You’ll be splashed by kids at the pool; you’ll be elbowed by people who want drinks at the bar; and even in your room, you’ll see and hear people just walking just a few yards away.

All-inclusive prices are among the main things that people like about Beaches. There are 20 restaurants, 12 bars, and six pools for guests to enjoy during their stay. Of course, there might not be a restaurant in those 20 that truly wows with its food. But you can eat brick-oven pizza, chicken, sushi, and crème brûlée all in one day if you want to.

So, of course, you shouldn’t expect to get a customized experience at this kind of hotel unless you pay for a room with a butler.

Beaches are more than 65 acres long, but it doesn’t have as much beachfront as the Grace Bay Club, which is a lot smaller and fancier. And also, because the resort is spread out over a lot of land, it can take several hours just to walk around. There aren’t many off-site attractions that can be reached by foot. If you go to the seaside, you can find a few restaurants in either direction. For everything else, you’ll need to get a taxi or rent a car.

2. Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa

In 1988, this Sandals was the first to open on the island. It has a great location on Seven Mile Beach, which is one of the most lovely areas on the island. Both young and old lovers, no singles or children are allowed here, come to this resort because it has an all-inclusive plan, big rooms, and a plethora of different things to do that keep people on the resort for most of their stay. After a renovation in 2015, a large portion of the public spaces and rooms got a new look, with classy decor replaced by modern furniture. This is considered by many people as the best Sandals resort and one of the cheapest too. Take into account that Sandals Resorts are special for couples and not families.

In the lobby, there are hanging benches that look out over the main pool. There are soft-toned walls and oceanfront terraces with cushioned chairs and a fireplace in the rooms. Anticipate to see games of bingo actually happening in the pool; many couples were there. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with very little loud entertainment. Nevertheless, some previous guests have said that noise can get into their rooms. People can see the beach and well-kept grounds from open spaces and a lot of windows.

This is a good choice for couples who want an all-inclusive vacation on the beach. Skylark Negril Resort is better for people who wish for a more affectionate, boutique experience. It’s worth looking at the prices of the same Couples Negril.

People can see the big signs for Sandals Negril right on the busy Norman Manley Boulevard. It’s a little away from the actual strip of hotels and cottages on the beach, but it’s easy to find. If you want to be close to popular attractions like Rick’s Cafe, you can drive about 15 minutes to get there. There are also several restaurants, pubs, clubs, stores, and art fairs in the downtown area where you can get your food and drink.

If you want to get to vendors and local artists near other hotels by walking, you can do that. The receptionist and tour desks can also help you get to nearby attractions by giving you a ride. Free nonstop airport transportation is included in the rate. Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay is about a 90-minute car ride, and the hotel will pick you up from there.

This package covers everything from breakfast to snacks to drinks at the hotel. Central open area buffet restaurants such as the Beach Bistro, casual pizza restaurant, and Jamaican a la carte diner are just three of seven restaurants. Reservations are required for both the Italian Cucina Romana and the Japanese Teppanyaki Kimonos, both of which are only for dinner. People who stay in certain types of rooms get free room service, but not everyone does. Food gets good reviews all over the place.

It has a swim-up bar, a beach bar, a piano, and a sports bar, and three other bars open at different times. And thanks to collaboration, Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks, unlimited wines are also free of charge because they are part of the bargain. If you want to go with your family to Negril, it is better that you stay at Beaches resort. You can see the best offers of this resort here.

3. El Dorado Maroma, Riviera Maya, Mexico

El Dorado is a place where couples come to Maroma to celebrate their wedding ceremonies, honeymoons, and anniversaries there. It’s a peaceful, adults-only place. A “would you like a cold towel?” type of place, where rest and relaxation are the primary goals. It is perfect for sunset dinners and serene nights. Maroma guests don’t come to play volleyball on the beach or do aerobics in the swimming pool.

There isn’t a lot of sand on the beach, so most people spend their days at one of the pools at the hotel. The primarily white lobby has a ceiling with billowing white fabric and huge brown vases with brown and white leaves inside. A piece of framed abstract art is on each of the walls in this room. It looks like a tropical paradise outside, with coconut trees and flower bushes that are full of color.

El Dorado Maroma is about midway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It’s not far from the ocean, but there aren’t many other things to do nearby. There aren’t many things to do in the direct vicinity, except for near the area Dolphin Discovery, where people can pay to swim with dolphins. This is a great hotel for people who want to go on trips to the airport or to nearby places like Tulum, which is around an hour’s drive away. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Cancun International Airport from the hotel.

When you stay at the El Dorado Maroma hotel, you can choose from a lot of different room types. From standard accommodations to multiple-bedroom suites and private rooms with swim-up terraces, there are many options for people who want to stay there. No matter what kind of hotel you stay at, the rooms are big and well-equipped with things like iHomes, jetted tubs, and fully-stocked mini-fridges. Suites are cream-colored with vibrantly colored walls and fun pillows.

People who stay at El Dorado Maroma can go to numerous on-site restaurants, a spa, and a sophisticated gym. The only problem is that most of the hotel’s common areas don’t have a lot of character or charm. Aside from Lima Limon and Caribbean Grill, all restaurants look and feel the same. They have big, empty rooms with a lot of tables in them. Actually, the Mexican restaurant and the wine bar are both in the same room. There are a few walls that separate the room into different parts.

The lack of elegance makes it feel like it’s the same thing every day when you eat here. You’re likely to feel like you’ve seen this before, no matter where you eat. But somehow, it is not only the diners that lack a vibe. There’s no wow element in the reception area or sense of calm in the spa since they make it feel like the Italian restaurant you went to last evening.

People don’t care about how a restaurant looks. The food isn’t anything to write home about, either. There aren’t many good meals, but for a travelodge that says it’s a “gourmet all-inclusive,” the food isn’t very good. The spa has a wide range of treatments, including massages on the beach. The on-site gym is small but well-equipped, with some equipment and free weights.

There are three significant pools at El Dorado Maroma. Most of them stay pretty quiet all day. Many suites have swim-up terraces that direct to a small canal-like swimming pool that links up to the main pool. The seaside seems more like a harbor and not very good for swimming. The beach and other parts of the resort, like the pools and restaurants, are often closed or divided up to make room for weddings and other events at the hotel.

4. Jewel Paradise Cove Resort & Spa, Runaway Bay, Jamaica

The Jewel Paradise Cove could be one of the best all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica for people who want to stay with other adults. Maybe it’s not as popular as Montego Bay or Negril, but it’s still an excellent place to stay. The only downside is that the beach isn’t as good as the more expensive adult-only Couples Swept Away.

But the Jewel is a little smaller than many all-inclusive options in Jamaica, with a small, easy-to-navigate property, no wristbands, no towel cards, no early morning rush to reserve a lounge chair, and almost no hassles. There are many things to enjoy at the hotel, and most people will think that they’re a good deal. The water sports, a glass-bottom float trip of the ocean, a trip to the Konoko Falls, a diving excursion, and a shopping trip are even included in the rate.

With three swim-up bars and many organized activities, the ambiance here is exciting and can be lively. The resort can also feel a little empty at certain times of the year. People can relax and have events on the grounds, which have both landscaped tropical green areas and open, grassy areas for lounging. This resort will find a courtyard with a giant, almost life-size chess board and a large covered porch where pool tables, couches, and an ATM. In the gardens, there are paved walkways that go between buildings, gazebos, and rock outcroppings beside the ocean.

The resort is on a stretch of Cardiff Hall Beach in Runaway Bay, but it isn’t right next to anything else, except for other nearby resorts. It is on a strip of beach with white sand and many small rocks. It has a rugged coral cliff setting that has its unique beauty. Golfers will like that the resort is only a short drive from the Runaway Bay Golf Club, an 18-hole, championship course.
