- Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall
Hyatt Zilara is the crowning jewel of the Rose Hall Great House area, which is near Montego Bay on the north coast of Jamaica. It’s an all-inclusive resort only for adults who want to stay there.
The Hyatt is the best place to stay if you want to have a romantic stay in a luxurious hotel and do fantastic activities. It not only has beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea to the north, but it also has a few golf courses that are connected to each other. This makes it an excellent spot for a romantic vacation. You and your soulmate can choose to spend most of your time relaxing on the beautiful windswept beaches or playing a round of golf, on a wonderful course, against each other to see who can come out on top.
A different, perhaps even more fascinating, way is to take a one-minute stroll to take a trip to the Rose Hall Great House, home of the renowned ghost of Anne Palmer. Make sure you don’t get shocked if a nice scare makes you closer to each other as a couple.
The rooms have jetted tubs and balconies with spectacular views. If you stay at the resort, it will be wonderful. You’ll find yourself melting into each other’s shoulders under a coconut palm or heating each other up against the cool night air.
While you can kayak or sail with your partner during the day, at night, couples are more likely to be in one of the nine luxurious restaurants that serve an eclectic mix of Jamaican and continental food.
And whomever you adore will fall in love with Hyatt Zilara. They work hard to make even the most demanding guests satisfied.

In the rooms, which are big, cozy, and furnished in a good way, you will feel right at home. Experience room service or eat at one of those different restaurants that are spread out all over the hotel.
Iberostar has a wonderful tropical beach destination and a bunch of fun activities to do both on and off the resort. You will be treated like royalty during your stay at this resort and get almost everything your heart desires.

The Grand Palladium in Lucea has a lot of great stuff to see and do, like huge extravagant halls and estate rooms. Beautiful beach scenes and glamorous suites with jetted tubs and sofa beds aren’t the only things that make this place unique.
There is a delightful beach at the Grand Palladium. The balconies at this luxurious hotel have views of lush tropical rainforests, the most alluring white sand, and the most profound shades of blue in the water around them.
On the other side of the resort, you’ll see a magnificent golf course with rolling greens and man-made lagoons. The golfing here is world-class, and the course is tricky enough but won’t make you look terrible if you’re not an expert.
The Grand Palladium is only a few minutes away from the Martha Brae River, the Rose Hall Great House, the Montego Bay Water park, and the Rockland Bird Sanctuary. Read more here about the best all inclusive resorts with water park.
If you want to spend the night, you can go to one of the small bars on the beach. There are a few warm and comfortable areas to enjoy the night sky on or off the seaside.
A trip to the Grand Palladium is, as its name implies, a very luxurious experience.

- Round Hill Hotel and Villas
Round Hill Hotel and Villas is in Hanover Parish outside of Montego Bay. It’s about a 35-minute drive from Sangster Airport. One of the things that makes it so private is that it’s about a five- to 10-minute drive from the small town of Hopewell. There are some restaurants, churches, and banks in the small town. If they want to eat cheaper or go to the famous Tryall Golf Course, which is about a 10-minute drive away, it’s free to park on-site.
The resort has 27 hillside villas split into 74 suites and 36 rooms. It has two floors that face the sea, but only the lower-level rooms have furniture outside. They have four-poster bamboo beds and beige tiling on the floor. They also have a white wall, white linens, throw pillows, or blankets in blue and pink colors. Ceramic pottery, pineapple-shaped lampshades, and silver kettles make the room look more expensive. People who stay on the hotel’s second floor have white shutters that open up to pretty ocean views. All the rooms have comfy armchairs, air-conditioning, iPod docks, and coffeemakers. There is also free Wi-Fi. There are no TVs in this room. There are deep tubs and separate showers, double sinks, Elemis bath products, and hairdryers in the bathrooms.
Villas aren’t close to the beach or other amenities, but they’re spread out on the hillside and offer beautiful ocean views. Most villas have their own swimming pools, and they can have up to six rooms. There are tubs and separate showers in some swanky bathrooms, some of which are the outside.
The Round Hill Hotel and Villas has a few modern, Caribbean-themed places to eat and drink. All of them are well-reviewed. The high-end Restaurant at Round Hill is only accessible from mid-December to March. Tourists must make reservations. At the Grill, you can enjoy great views of the ocean and delicious food all day. It’s on the upper level. In the Seaside Terrace restaurant, which is very casual, there are themed nights like farm-to-table, beach BBQ, and Jamaica nights. Between the beach and the pool, there is a hut-style bar. Afternoon teas are free, as are manager receptions with complimentary cocktails every week.
Food isn’t cheap all over the place, so some people choose the all-inclusive package that covers everything from meals to drinks. A person on the Round Hill Hotel Jamaica All-Inclusive Platinum plan costs about $204 per person per day when this review was written. Half-board and full-board meal plans are also available.

- Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica
The Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica is near a major intersection on Ironshore’s A1 highway. This is just 10 minutes from Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport. Even though this is advantageous, it also makes a lot of noise when planes fly over the land. There aren’t many options for guests who want to leave the resort and go out and see what else there is to do. It’s not far from Riu Montego Bay’s sister property, but there is only a gas station and a small strip mall throughout the highway.
The rooms at Hotel Riu Palace Jamaica are very modern and hip if you’ve ever been to another Riu Palace, so you’ll know what to expect. There are primarily white floors, walls, and furniture in this house. All the suites have purple fabric accents, and there are black faux-marble bathrooms in each. They have open floor plans and bathrooms with jetted tubs, double vanities, luxurious toiletries, and large walk-in rain showers.
For the most part, the rooms look and feel the same. Each room has a wet bar area near the bed with a minibar, coffeemaker, and full-bottle liquor taps. There is also a lounge area with a small table and chairs and a private patio outside with plastic chairs and a small table and chairs. Air conditioning is in every room, robes, an umbrella, and a small safe. Jacuzzi Suites have a little more space outside with a big, private hot tub.
When you go to Jamaica, you can choose from a wide range of restaurants, snacks, and other a la carte options. You can also get food all day long. After room service, there are rules about what can be served and how many people can go to restaurants specializing in different foods. There is a buffet for breakfast in the main restaurant, Montego Bay. Lunch is served there for a few hours. Snack foods are accessible from lunch till just before dinner at seaside Aqua.

Mistakes to Avoid When Going on a Trip to an All-Inclusive Resort
- Expecting Everything To Be Included
With all the things that come with an all-inclusive vacation, there’s still a lot that isn’t. There is a lot of stuff that resorts charge for, like a la carte spa treatments. To drink wine, beer, and liquor that isn’t a house brand of the hotel, you will have to pay for it, too. And there’s likely to be an extra charge for things like crab and steak at restaurants.
Then there are the “extras” you might like to experience while at the resort, such as a candlelight dinner on the seaside or scuba-diving lessons.
- Not Having Enough Money for Tips
Some resorts, like Couples, make it clear that they don’t want you to tip. If you stay at a hotel, you don’t have to leave cash tips for housekeepers, bartenders, and other employees because your room rate includes their gratuities.
If you want to be polite, you should leave some dollars for the welcoming bartender making your drinks, the restaurant servers hurrying to get hot food to your table, etc. The energetic activities staff run fun volleyball games, the housekeeping staff leaves you towel animals on your bed every night, and the bell staff takes care of your luggage.
- Packing Too Much
There’s no need to change your bathing suit or evening clothes every day when you’re on a trip. Having fewer things to keep track of and lighter luggage to carry around just makes traveling easier. All-inclusive resorts, where days are spent at the pool or beach and dinner is a more formal affair (check the dress code before you go), just some clothes you can mix and match and re-wear will be enough.
